In addition there was a book signing with Teresa Giudice on 14th Street in Manhattan, N.Y. They were giving out Peach & Mango and Original Vitacoco in the plaza. Here's a snippet as to why she was there:

On Oct. 11, Teresa joined several other NBC stars in Union Square to help celebrate NBCU’s Healthy Week. The network constructed a giant table, chairs, and even a place setting (hence the knife and fork!) in an effort to emphasize the need for healthy portions.

After she forked over some helpful tips for healthy eating, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star signed copies of her latest book, Fabulicious: Fast & Fit. Talk about a healthy day!

 Vice Presidential Debate 

As you guys know last week was the vice presidential debate and I have to say that Joe Biden did what he needed to do. He energized the democratic base, and didn't let Ryan say things without being held accountable. I think he was very successful in controlling the debate, and now the score is tied 1 to 1. <3

Saturday Night Live did a hilarious spoof of the debate and this is pretty much how it went. Too funny.

For all you cosplayers out there...meet Merli

If you're not fairskin it's really difficult to find a character to cosplay so a lot of people were excited for her debut. She's a vocaloid from a computer program where you can create music, songs, and things of that nature. Here's some info about her character development and appearance concept from tumblr:

She is named after Merlinite (メルリナイト / Merurinaito) a type of stone known for its duel light and dark appearance.Her race’s concept as fairies is that they are a special race who can convert “songs” into “power”. They can only be seen by a subset of the human population. While Lapis’ power of song gives life, Merli’s draws energy from living things. Her official profile says, ”She’s 16cm fairy. She’s strong-minded and tsundere; she’s a charming mysterious girl, who is innocent and changing the facial expression all the time. She’s basically naive, but so innocent that she usually pretends to know everything ad hoc.“

So Yummy

Okay I had to temporarily break my " diet " haha wow I lasted a whole half a day. Being that it is Columbus Day I went to the mall to see what I could get on sale, but nothing really interested me. I was looking for an infinity scarf or cute winter accessories; however, I didn't have anything catch my eye. While leaving the mall I came across a crumbs bakeshop and they had some of the most decorative, frightening cupcakes for the season. In my moment of weakness I decided to get one and it's called Cyclops---red velvet, cream cheese, and topped with a chocolate eyeball. MMmmm Yummy. Anyway I'll start my diet again tomorrow bahahahaha.

I Must Have Want

This is such a california fashion statement but I absolutely love spirit hoods it's like an oversize hat glove combination all in one. It can be a little pricey but it's so cute. They even have the kid version that comes with built in speakers and you can draw on it :)

I've been eyeing hunter boots for some time now and can't for them to go on sale somewhere. These boots can be worn anywhere and they look great. Love that you can purchase liners to go with these boots to wear in the winter. I plan on getting the grizzly socks because it has a mixture of colors. 

It's that time of the year

Holidays are right around the corner so what better time than to try to lose weight ha so I'm using caloriecount to keep track of my daily intake for the day. I'm also going to the gym for cardio, and weight training. Goal date is February 2013. Wish me luck!
